In Akron, Ohio, there’s a growing need for safe, inclusive spaces where kids and teens can thrive, connect, and express themselves. That’s why we’re on a mission to build a nonprofit indoor skatepark—a hub for skateboarding, youth sports, creativity, and community.

For many kids, skateboarding is more than a sport; it’s a lifeline. It teaches resilience, builds confidence, and creates lasting friendships. Yet, our city lacks a weather-proof facility where young people can skate year-round, stay active, and engage in positive, enriching activities.
