The Carver Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to raising support for an all-inclusive indoor skatepark / action sports facility in Akron, Ohio - providing a safe place for skateboarders, rollerbladers, quad skaters, scooters and BMXers to ride all year.

Akron, Ohio only gets about 169 days of "comfortable weather" each year! That's just 5 and a half months of weather suitable for outdoor activities, such as skateboarding at an outdoor skatepark.

Where are folks supposed to ride the other 6 and half months of the year - when it's cold, raining, or snowing outside?!?
